October Announcement

Hi folks! It's August, and I just wanted to give you all a heads-up about the month of October. We'll be taking a bit of a hiatus this month because I'm getting married and don't have the time to devote to the podcast in the run-up to that. We really appreciate your support, and we hope you have a great spooky season!

End of Season 6 Announcement

Hi folks, this is August, and I just wanted to let you know a little bit about what we have in store going forward.
First of all, thank you for listening to season six, which has been our most ambitious season to date. If you haven't listened to the even-numbered arcs, otherwise known as our "six arcs and a movie stuff," we highly recommend you do so. I feel like it's some of the best stuff we've done so far.
Next, we'll be running the rest of our City of Mist arc from Patreon while we prep for the bonus six arcs movie. If you haven't listened to the first two episodes, you can find those in the main feed as well.
Third, speaking of Patreon content, we'll be pausing our Patreon for a little bit because we won't really have much of anything in the run-up to the six arcs movie. We may pause it for a little bit longer depending, just because we are going to be focusing on our next project--which is kind of a big one--and we may not have the ability to do some Patreon content for you. But just hang tight, and we'll be back to our regularly scheduled content soon.
Finally, I wanted to let you know a little bit about what we'll be doing in between seasons. We'll be taking a little bit of a break before we tackle season seven. Don't worry, we'll still be doing stuff, but instead of our typical format, we'll be doing a special limited run story under the moniker "Follow the Leader Presents." Keep your ears out for more information closer to time, and in the meantime enjoy some bonus content.
One small note: we may need to change our release schedule. Now, this isn't set in stone, I would hope to keep our weekly release schedule, but we may have to switch to biweekly because I want to put a lot of polish on our six arcs movie.
Anyway, we're really excited for what we've got coming up, and we can't wait to share it all with you. Thank you again for listening and we really appreciate everything that you do. We really appreciate the fact that you're willing to go on this wild ride with us, and have been for the past four years. It really means a lot, and before I get too much more emotional, I'm going to end this announcement. Have a great evening, morning, day, whatever works for you!

End of Season 4 Announcement

Hi folks! It's August and I just wanted to say thanks for listening to our fourth season. Now that we've wrapped it up, we're taking a break as we get season 5 rolling. In the mean time, we'll be releasing a couple of things from our Patreon feed to give you a taste of what's going on over there. You can look forward to the first two episodes of our City of Mist Patreon game over the next two weeks, and then we'll be back with Season 5 on February first!
We've got a lot of good stuff planned for season 5 and we can't wait to share it all with you!

December Twelve-Hour Stream

Standing Stones Productions, our non-profit podcasting guild, is putting on a twelve-hour charity stream for voter rights before the runoff election in Georgia. We will be playing four games on December 12th from 11AM EST to 11PM EST. The proceeds of this stream will be in support of Fair Fight, an organization that fights voter disenfranchisement, particularly for marginalized voters.
We will also have several wonderful guests playing with us: Jeff Stormer of the Party of One and All My Fantasy Children podcasts; Katy from the Off the Table streaming/podcasting group; Cam, one of the co-creators of the Old Gods of Appalachia podcast; Brandon O'Brien, poet, writing, and indie TTRPG designer; and Riley/Lyra Hopkins, indie TTRPG designer and podcaster extraordinaire.
Our schedule includes playing Urban Shadows second edition, The Tall Grass by Gaia Sicolo, Thirsty Sword Lesbians, and Zombie Survivalist Second Edition by Riley Hopkins. You can find our full schedule on the Standing Stones twitter at stones_standing.

Follow the Leader unequivocally supports those who have suffered abuse. To that end, we have removed two arcs from our feed so as not to continue that harm. We will not be accepting questions at this time.

Special Announcement

Hi folks, it's Kales. I just have a couple of quick announcements this week. First of all, there is no episode this week, obviously. Season 2 just ended, so we're taking a break while we get geared up for season 3. There will not be episodes for this week and the next three weeks while we get everything in order. July and August were a pretty hectic months for us and we weren't really able to record, so we're having to play catch-up. Don't worry, we'll be back soon! Like, October soon.
Second, we'd like to announce that we are adjusting our Patreon rewards. While we are still working on an exclusive campaign of This Town is Full of Monsters--and everyone is absolutely welcome to blame me, AKA Kales, me--we are going to do some bonus two-player content in addition to the backlog of our livestreamed games.
Third, we'd like to welcome a new cast member: Zachary Frederickson, formerly of Roll Dice and Cry, who you probably heard in arcs 18 and 23 playing Flotsam with us. We're really excited to have him on board, and we're looking forward to what he'll bring to future games.
Fourth, from the bottom of our hearts: thank you. Your support means the world to us. We've got a lot of good stuff in the works and we can't wait to share it with you all!

Special Announcement

Hi folks, it's Dora. I just wanted to make a few announcements. First is, obviously, there is no episode this week, and there won't be next week, either. We've closed out our first season of play and are taking a break while we get geared up for next season! We've also recorded a Q&A episode that you can look forward to once the break is over.
Second is that next season will see some format changes: Han and Alix are leaving the cast, and you'll be seeing the occasional guest player next season. We wish Han and Alix all the best, and we think you'll enjoy the guests we've got lined up!
Last but not least, we're launching a Patreon! On March 20th (that's the first day of spring), you'll be able to support us and receive cool rewards like access to things like bloopers and outtakes, our archive of livestreamed games, and a special Patreon-only game of This Town Is Full Of Monsters.
We're really excited as we get ramped up for the rest of 2019 and we hope you'll join us on this wonderful journey!
